Shepherdson suspended for two weeks
Brumbies prop Guy Shepherdson has been suspended for two weeks after he was found guilty of striking in Friday night's 32-31 Super 14 win over the Bulls at Canberra Stadium.
Shepherdson earned a yellow card in the 27th minute of the match after appearing to knee Bulls lock Danie Rossouw in the head.
A SANZAR hearing a Brumbies headquarters on Saturday morning determined Shepherdson would be banned for two games.
The ban was downgraded from three matches because of Shepherdson's previously unblemished record.
He will miss away games against Wellington and Queensland.
