Brumbies wait to learn Botha's fate
The Brumbies will have to wait until Tuesday to find out whether they'll face Springboks lock Bakkies Botha in their Super 14 match on Friday.
Botha appeared before a SANZAR judicial hearing on Monday and could face suspension after being charged with striking NSW Waratahs skipper Phil Waugh during the Bulls' 20-6 win over their hosts at Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night.
Evidence tendered included video footage supplied by Fox Sports.
However, judicial officer Dennis Wheelahan QC held over his decision for further consideration and was expected to announce it on Tuesday at 9am (AEST).
The third-placed Bulls play the ninth-placed but surging Brumbies in a key Super 14 match at Canberra Stadium on Friday night.
