Qld Reds lock cleared of striking charge
Queensland Reds lock Adam Byrnes has been cleared of a striking charge at a judicial hearing in Brisbane on Thursday night.
Byrnes was cited following an incident involving NSW lock Chris Thomson in a trial match between the Reds and Waratahs in Toowoomba last Saturday night.
After conducting the hearing at QRU offices, SANZAR judicial officer Paul Tully dismissed the charge.
