Port Adelaide promote Meyer, Hitchcock
Port Adelaide have promoted Danny Meyer and Cameron Hitchcock to their senior AFL list.
Meyer, who joined Port from Richmond two years ago, and Hitchcock were rookie-listed players with the Power this season.
Hitchcock impressed with 17 senior matches in his debut season, while Meyer played six games for the Power.
"Given that he jumped from playing SANFL reserves footy to the AFL over one pre-season, Cameron developed very well this season finishing third on our goal kicking," said Power football manager Peter Rohde.
"We think he has plenty of upside to his game."
"Danny played a handful of senior games for us this season off the rookie list where we thought he made a solid contribution.
"He has a good mixture of speed and endurance and we're confident that Danny can continue to take his game to another level."
The Power also finalised their senior list by delisting Matthew Westhoff and Jay Nash, although Port have invited Westhoff to keep training with them until next month's national draft.
