Saints make four changes
Midfielder Alistair Smith will finally make his AFL debut as one of four St Kilda inclusions for Sunday's AFL match of the round against Essendon.
The Saints are concerned about their inconsistent form and dropped defender Jason Blake and Daniel Archer for the twilight match.
Lenny Hayes is out for the year with a knee reconstruction and Steven Baker has a foot injury.
They have brought in Rhys Stanley, Jack Steven, Adam Schneider and Smith, who was an emergency for the senior team six times last season.
The Bombers recalled Angus Monfries for David Myers, who has a hand injury.
Geelong regained stars Joel Selwood, Cameron Mooney and Matthew Scarlett for the Sunday home game against Port Adelaide.
Apart from losing Andrew Mackie (ankle) and David Wojcinski (achilles), the Cats omitted Cameron Guthrie.
Port promoted Daniel Motlop and Hamish Hartlett for captain Domenic Cassisi (knee) and Cameron Hitchcock.
Melbourne dropped Ricky Petterd, Addam Maric and Neville Jetta in the wake of last Sunday's disastrous third-quarter collapse against Hawthorn.
Austin Wonaeamirri, Cale Morton and Jordan Gysberts will come into the side for Sunday's home game against Brisbane.
The Lions' No.5 draft pick Jared Polec will make his senior debut.
Brisbane also recalled Aaron Cornelius and left out Aaron Buchanan and Broc McCauley.
