Knee could sideline Voss from AFL
Brisbane captain Michael Voss could be out of AFL indefinitely, according to a newspaper report.
The Sunday Telegraph says Voss has ruled himself out of football "indefinitely" because of ongoing knee soreness.
"I don't want to compromise my recovery, I want to play when my knee is right," Voss said.
"If it means it takes halfway through the year it takes halfway through the year.
"If it's longer, it's longer."
Voss said his knee was healing "very slowly", putting a major dent in Brisbane's chance of claiming an historic fourth consecutive premiership.
Voss has suffered knee soreness most of his career but decided against having surgery in the off-season, preferring to rest the injury.
