Former Bulldog Phelps departs Wigan
Australian utility back Cameron Phelps has been released by English Super League club Wigan.
The former Canterbury player joined the Warriors in 2008 but had been frozen out of the team since a loss to Harlequins in April.
He never played again for the club after that defeat with England international Sam Tomkins set to take over Phelps' No.1 jersey.
The 25-year-old joins fellow Australian Mark Riddell in leaving the Super League champions, while Amos Roberts has lost his No.2 jersey to England winger Darrell Goulding.
