St Helens suspend Aussie coach Millward
Australia's Ian Millward has been suspended from his coaching role by English Super League club St Helen pending a disciplinary investigation.
Millward's assistant coach Dave Rotheram has been placed in temporary charge as the team prepare for Friday's Challenge Cup fifth round tie against York.
Millward, 44, has had huge success since joining St Helens from Leigh in March 2000.
He won the Super League Grand Final in his first season in charge and also added the World Club Challenge and Challenge Cup within months.
He led his side to Super League glory again in 2002 and victory in last year's Challenge Cup final against Wigan.
