Leeds ran in 14 tries in a 76-12 rout of neighbours Castleford on Friday to move level on points with St Helens at the top of the English Super League.

England winger Ryan Hall claimed a stunning five-try haul, including a first-half hat-trick.

Former Manly winger Scott Donald, full-back Brent Webb (2), Lee Smith, Kylie Leuluai, Rob Burrow, Jamie Peacock, Michael Ratu and Ali Lauitiiti were also on target.

"That was my first senior hat-trick," said 21-year-old Hall. "It's good to get three, never mind five.

"I've got a couple of braces this year but it was good to get this many under my belt."

Hall now has 26 tries for the season, but has yet to reach his personal target.

"I'm keeping that figure to myself, but wait until the end of the year and I'll tell if I've got it."

In the night's other game, Wigan scored seven tries to beat Warrington 36-16 and gain revenge for their Challenge Cup semi-final defeat against the same opponents last weekend.

George Carmont touched down twice for the Warriors, while former Wests Tigers start Pat Richards scored 16 points, and there were also tries for Amos Roberts, Cameron Phelps, Thomas Leuluai and Martin Gleeson.

Warrington's consolation tries came through Chris Bridge, Vinnie Anderson and Chris Riley.
