Roosters youngster ousted for season
Sydney Roosters player Ulise Fahina was on Thursday night suspended for 26 matches at the Toyota Cup Judiciary.
Fahina was referred to the judiciary charged with kicking St George Illawarra player Daniel Nicastri in a round 26 Toyota Cup match.
Fahina pleaded guilty and received 25 matches for the kicking incident and a further week following a guilty plea to an additional grade two contrary conduct charge.
The lengthy ban effectively rules Fahina out for the entire 2009 season.
