Panthers youngster cops 12-game drug ban
The NRL has suspended Penrith Toyota Cup player David Hatzimarkos for 12 matches under the Illicit Substances Testing Policy.
The Panthers have terminated Hatzimarkos' contract after he returned two positive tests in this calendar year.
The NRL's policy requires each club to conduct a minimum of 70 tests at NRL level and 70 tests at Toyota Cup level throughout each year for illicit substances.
These tests are conducted both in and out of season.
