AFL match review panel boss stands aside
The AFL is searching for a new head of its match review panel after Andrew McKay announced he would stand down as chairman on Wednesday.
Former Carlton player McKay started on the original three-man panel formed in 2005 before taking over as chairman in 2007.
He will continue working for the AFL as its game analysis manager and remain on the laws of the game committee.
AFL football operations manager Adrian Anderson said the league would advertise the chairman's position this weekend with a view to making an appointment prior to the new season kicking off.
