No tribunal charges from AFL grand final
A classic AFL grand final has also been declared clean, after the match review panel laid no charges following their review of Saturday's game.
The panel decided no incidents from Geelong's 12-point win over St Kilda were worthy of suspension, including Cats forward Cameron Mooney's fist to the face of Saints' defender Sam Gilbert following a marking contest.
"The impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken," the panel said in a statement.
The AFL had promised players who were found guilty of offences during the grand final would received double the usual penalties.
