Notting offered one-match AFL suspension
Brisbane utility Tim Notting can accept a one-match suspension if he submits early guilty plea to striking North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson in Saturday's match at the Gabba.
The match review panel assessed the grade three striking offence as intentional, of low impact and high contact.
If Notting decides to challenge the report at the tribunal on Tuesday night and is unsuccessful, he will be sidelined for the Lions' next two games against Collingwood and Essendon.
Geelong premiership midfielder Joel Corey can accept a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record if he pleads guilty to striking Hawthorn youngster Luke Shiels.
Young Hawks star Cyril Rioli will be fined $1950 if he pleads guilty to making negligent contact with umpire Ray Chamberlain during Saturday's one-point loss to Geelong.
The match review panel withdrew a match-day report against Fremantle hard man Dean Solomon for striking West Coast's Andrew Embley in Saturday's western derby.
The panel said that contact was unavoidable between the players and Solomon attempted to reduce the impact.
