Kosi free to take on Cats

Koschitzke was booked for allegedly striking Fremantle's Ryan Crowley during the second term of the Saints' 18-point win over their top four rivals at Subiaco on Sunday.

But the match review panel rubbed out the charge on Monday, deeming the off-the-ball hit to have been below the force required to constitute a reportable offence.

It was an important result for the Saints, who are still without skipper and gun key forward Nick Riewoldt, who has been out since round three with a serious hamstring injury.

Koschitzke, who has struggled for form this year, showed some promising signs with two goals from 17 disposals against the Dockers.

The only two reports laid by the panel were both for alleged tripping offences.

Saints midfielder Leigh Montagna can accept a reprimand if he pleads guilty to tripping Fremantle's Garrick Ibbotson, as can West Coast's Bradd Dalziell, over a charge of tripping Richmond's Daniel Connors at the MCG on Sunday.

A match-day striking charge laid against Geelong running defender David Wojcinski was also wiped out by the panel, with his contact on Essendon's Alwyn Davey also deemed below the force necessary.

Any incidents arising in Monday's draw between Collingwood and Melbourne will be assessed by the panel on Tuesday.
