Joint winners of SANFL Magarey Medal
Victorian-born midfielders Rhys Archard and James Ezard are the joint winners of the Magarey medal for the best and fairest player in the SANFL.
North Adelaide's Archard and West Adelaide's Ezard both polled 18 votes to share the medal.
The duo finished one vote ahead of the 2007 Magarey medallist, North Adelaide's James Allan.
Archard, 26, hails from Euchuca in country Victoria while 23-year-old Ezard is also from rural Victoria - born in Broadford.
Ezard, the nephew of Essendon premiership player Alan Ezard, played four AFL games for Port Adelaide before being delisted in 2006.
