Tredrea wins Port B & F
Port Adelaide's Warren Tredrea capped off a remarkable season when he won the John Cahill Medal for being the club's best and fairest player in 2004.
Tredrea was awarded the club champion's award in front of nearly 1,000 guests at the Adelaide Convention Centre for the Power's formal best and fairest presentation dinner.
Tredrea (236 votes) beat Kane Cornes (220) and Michael Wilson (195) for the club's highest individual honour.
He becomes the first Power player to have gained best and fairest honours twice after winning the medal back in 2001.
It caps off a dream year for Tredrea in which, due to injury to club captain Matthew Primus, he was the on-field captain all year, including captaining the club to its first ever AFL premiership last month.
