Koschitzke accepts one-week AFL ban
St Kilda key forward Justin Koschitzke will miss Saturday's clash with West Coast after accepting a one-match suspension for striking.
Koschitzke risked being sidelined for two weeks had he gone to the AFL Tribunal and been unsuccessful in challenging the report for striking Hawthorn's Michael Osborne.
The tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night after Koschitzke's teammate Aaron Fiora also took the early guilty plea and was reprimanded for striking Osborne in a separate incident.
Sydney's Jarrad McVeigh and Essendon's Jobe Watson were both fined $1,950 for making negligent contact with field umpires during round 16 matches.
