St Kilda's Koschitzke hit with gastritis
St Kilda big man Justin Koschitzke's troubled AFL season has continued with news the ruckman has been hospitalised for gastritis.
Koschitzke, who was playing for St Kilda's feeder team Sandringham in the VFL on Sunday, came off the ground at three-quarter time feeling unwell with a stomach complaint.
"The severity of the symptoms increased and Justin was assessed and admitted to hospital overnight, with further tests undertaken today," the Saints said in a statement on Monday.
"Justin was diagnosed with a form of gastritis and has been advised to rest for the next 24 hours."
The grand final ruckman has battled an ankle problem and concussion and has played only four senior games in 2011.
