Koschitzke set to return against Swans
St Kilda stalwart Lenny Hayes believes key forward Justin Koschitzke is a good chance of recovering from a hand injury to play against the Swans in Sydney on Saturday.
"We will probably have to wait until tomorrow, we've got our training session, I think he should be right to play," Hayes said on Wednesday.
"Obviously the hand is healing day by day, but I think he will be a pretty good chance to play."
Koschitzke missed last weekend's big win over the Western Bulldogs through suspension, although he would probably have been unavailable anyway due to the hand problem.
Hayes also expected out of favour midfielder Luke Ball to play some part in the remainder of the Saints campaign.
"I'd certainly think he can. Obviously he's working on a few things on his game," Hayes said of Ball, who was dropped to the VFL a couple of weeks ago.
"A lot of those discussion are between (St Kilda coach Ross Lyon) and himself. he's a very respected player at our footy club and someone I like playing with.
"I hope he's back in the team soon. His attitude has been first class.
He's a really respected guy and he's gone back and he's worked really hard and I've got no doubt he will play a part in this side going forward."
