Black accepts two-match ban
Fremantle defender Heath Black has accepted a two-match AFL suspension for striking Brisbane's Troy Selwood.
The Dockers chose not to contest the charge at the AFL Tribunal, which could have seen Black rubbed out for three matches had it been unsuccessful.
The second-quarter incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points), drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction.
Black had no existing record and his early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to 243.75 points and a two-match sanction.
The 29-year-old also accepted a $900 fine for wrestling Selwood.
The suspension is a bitter blow for Black, who was knocked out in the season opener against Collingwood and has missed five other games this year.
But Black's absence will be offset by the expected return of Roger Hayden, who has missed the club's past three games after suffering a punctured lung against the Bulldogs in round eight.
Hayden was admitted to hospital after that match to have his lung re-inflated but Harvey was confident the dashing defender was ready to resume playing duties.
"Roger Hayden will come back so that's a real positive for us," Harvey told Fairfax radio.
"Steven Dodd will be 50-50. (Marcus) Drum was a late withdrawal (from the loss to Brisbane) so he will be monitored.
Harvey hinted he may make further changes for Saturday's clash against North Melbourne at Subiaco Oval.
"We may play another younger player that we might just have a look at on our list," he said.
"We might even look at a guy like (Ryan) Murphy in the forward line, too."
