Freo's Crowley accepts one-match AFL ban
Fremantle's poor on-field discipline has continued, with Ryan Crowley accepting a one-game AFL suspension for making front-on contact with Collingwood defender Simon Prestigiacomo.
It is the Docker utility's second report this season, after he received a reprimand for round conduct in round one.
The Dockers have lost a total of 14 games to suspension this year, with 10 players reported over 16 cases.
Only two of those cases so far have resulted in not-guilty findings, although the tribunal ruled no penalty for striking and wrestling charges against Des Headland.
Those charges came from the controversial round-six sledging incident involving West Coast opponent Adam Selwood.
Also on Tuesday, Collingwood forward Alan Didak received a one-game suspension for charging Dockers onballer Paul Hasleby.
Didak is likely to take his case to the tribunal, because he faces a one-match ban regardless of whether he accepts the early plea.
The match review panel also fined Collingwood onballer Brodie Holland $3,300 and Western Bulldogs defender Jordan McMahon $2,400 for making negligent contact with a field umpire.
