Jeanne Pratt joins Carlton board
Jeanne Pratt, the widow of former Carlton president Richard Pratt, has joined the Blues' board.
Packaging magnate Richard Pratt was president in 2007-08, leading the AFL club out of a dire financial plight and helping to lure skipper Chris Judd from West Coast.
Jeanne Pratt was named the club's patron after her husband's death in 2009.
President Stephen Kernahan said during her time as patron she had used her business acumen to give informal advice, but had wanted to become more involved.
Pratt said she took the post partly to give a voice to two minority groups in football - women and the elderly.
She replaced Simon Wilson QC, who retired as a director late last year.
