Franklin out of Hawks team

Star full-forward Lance Franklin has pulled out of the Hawthorn team to play West Coast at Subiaco on Saturday due to an ankle injury.
Franklin rolled his ankle at training on Wednesday.
Although Franklin could have played against the Eagles with the aid of painkillers, Hawthorn decided that it was best to spare him the long plane trip to Perth.
It's another blow for the Hawks, who have lost their last five matches.
