Minichiello alarmed at Roosters defence
Anthony Minichiello has urged his Sydney Roosters teammates to not get carried away by their unbeaten start to the NRL season and says the team needs to improve defensively.
The Roosters recorded their second successive victory on Sunday with a 44-32 win over Wests Tigers at the Sydney Football Stadium.
However, Minichiello was alarmed at his side's defensive display in the last quarter of the game when they gave up three unanswered tries.
"We had a couple of little twitches in defence in the back end of the game and we need to work on that," Minichiello said.
"Most of their tries came through our defence and a goal of ours at the start of the season was to make sure if teams did score against us, it was because they went around us and not through our line."
