Former Rooster Sa happy to be in France
Former Sydney Roosters centre Setaimata Sa says he is delighted at entering a new stage of his sporting life as he arrived at Super League side Catalan Dragons.
The 22-year-old Samoan-born centre - a member of the New Zealand side that stunned Australia in the 2008 World Cup final - arrived with his wife and nine-month old son in France to begin his two year contract with the Dragons on Tuesday.
"I am very happy to be in France," said Sa, who will train with his new team-mates on Wednesday.
"This is a new challenge which is beginning for me," he added."
Sa, who was released by the Roosters in September, following a series of alcohol-related incidents, is the Dragons' second major signing for next season, which gets underway for them in February next year.
He will be joined by former Melbourne and Queensland lock Dallas Johnson who signed a three-year deal last month.
The Dragons have a tough opening schedule with four away matches in the first five weeks starting with Wakefield on February 7 before going to London the following week and begin their home campaign on February 20 against 2009 Grand Finalists St Helens.
