Chris Walker signs for Catalans Dragons
Australian winger-cum-centre Chris Walker has signed a two-year contract with French Super League side Catalans Dragons, the club said on Monday.
"This is good news for the club. He will bring speed to the back line, which we have been lacking on occasion," said Dragons' sporting director Sebastien Munoz.
"I think he will be swiftly adopted by the Catalan fans. A new player coming in will provide great competition at the back and that can only be positive for the team," said Munoz.
Walker arrives from NRL outfit Gold Coast Titans, having also played for Brisbane Broncos, Melbourne Storm, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters.
Dragons have also recruited Aussie third row Dallas Johnson and Kiwi world champion Setaimata Sa for the club's fifth Super League campaign.
