Dureau on the mend
Catalan Dragons' influential halfback Scott Dureau has been cleared of major injury but is facing a race against time to be fit for Friday's game against Super League champions Wigan at the DW Stadium.
The Australian was carried off on a stretcher in the closing stages of the Dragons' shock 22-20 win at Warrington on Sunday, shortly after scoring the decisive try, and taken to hospital for X-rays on his neck.
"He came out last night," said coach Trent Robinson. "The X-rays were all clear.
"We'll have to see how he recovers. He was pretty stiff and sore this morning. He copped a bit of a battering.
"If the game was tomorrow, he wouldn't be playing but hopefully every day he gets closer."
The Catalans have set up camp in Manchester because of the short turn-around in fixtures.
