Catalans turn to Robinson

Super League side Catalans Dragons have appointed Sydney Roosters assistant coach Trent Robinson as their head coach for the next three years.
The 33-year-old former Roosters, Parramatta and West Tigers player, Robinson had a playing stint with Toulouse and then succeeded Justin Morgan as coach in 2005.
Wakefield coach John Kear was Catalans' first choice but the French outfit were unable to agree compensation with the Wildcats.
