Britain rugby league internationals Leon Pryce and Stuart Reardon have been arrested and are set to face charges of assault and violence.
St Helens star Pryce and Warrington Wolves fullback Reardon were arrested after allegedly trying to force their way into a home on Sunday morning, according to the Daily Mail online.
The pair have been charged with using violence to gain entry and assault and will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on August 6.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed: "Both men have been charged with using violence to gain entry and assault and have been bailed to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on August 6."
Both of the players' Super League clubs are aware of the incidents.
"We are aware of an incident. We are trying to get the full facts. Until then, we are making no further comment," said a St Helens spokesman.
A Warrington spokesman said "the club is making absolutely no comment".
