Chase charged by NRL match review body
St George Illawarra utility Rangi Chase was the only player charged Monday by the NRL match review committee from this weekend's matches.
Chase received a grade one contrary conduct charge for dangerous contact with a kicker in Saturday night's win over the Gold Coast but he can escape suspension with an early guilty plea.
He risks a one-match ban by contesting the charge.
Manly prop Brent Kite was not cited despite being placed on report for a high shot on Newcastle halfback Jarrod Mullen in Saturday's 28-12 win at Bluetongue Stadium.
