Warriors' Heremaia signs with Hull
Warriors hooker Aaron Heremaia is heading back to England after signing a deal to play with Super League side Hull FC.
The 28-year-old rake, who would line up in the Warriors' No.9 jumper in Saturday night's NRL match against Sydney Roosters, signed a two-year deal starting next season.
Heremaia was deemed surplus to requirements at the Auckland-based club after the signing of Gold Coast hooker Nathan Friend, while young rake Alehana Mara also recently re-signed to two more years.
Heremaia has made 45 appearances for the Warriors after arriving at the club in 2009 following stints with Leigh, Widnes and Halifax.
"Hull are a huge club with a big history and tradition and have had some pretty big names down the years, so it doesn't take much to sell a club like that," Heremaia told Hull FC's website.
"I know I am joining an ambitious club with a good squad and coach and I think we have the potential to achieve something."
