Mara to make NRL debut for Warriors
Alehana Mara will make his NRL debut for the Warriors in Saturday's clash with Manly at Brookvale Oval, after regular hooker Ian Henderson was forced out with injury.
Henderson has been ruled out with an ankle injury he picked up late in last Sunday's 22-10 victory over Newcastle and has failed to recover from it.
His absence opens the way for 20 year-old Mara to make his debut off the interchange bench, with Kiwi international Aaron Heremaia to start for the Warriors at hooker.
Wellington product, Mara played two seasons for the Warriors Toyota Cup side and has been playing with feeder team the Auckland Vulcans so far this year.
Mara will come on and relieve out of dummy half.
