Lauaki signs with Hull, finally
New Zealand Test forward Epalahame Lauaki has completed his move to English rugby league club Hull FC on a three-year deal after receiving a visa.
Lauaki was released by the New Zealand Warriors more than four months ago but his move to England was reportedly held up because he had to prove he spoke English despite living in New Zealand for 20 years.
"It's been a long, frustrating process but our patience has been rewarded," Hull FC chief executive James Rule told reporters.
Lauaki, 25, is still recovering from an arm injury.
When fit, he will replace Adam Dykes, who was forced to end his contract early because of injury problems.
