Lions fullback James Kamana has been banned from Super Rugby for three weeks after a judicial committee found him guilty of dangerous play on Tuesday.
The New Zealander marred his first start for the Johannesburg franchise in the southern hemisphere championship last Saturday by spear tackling a Cheetahs player during a 25-20 victory in Bloemfontein.
Kamana will miss matches against Western Force and Queensland Reds at Ellis Park and defending champions the Bulls in Pretoria.
