Bulldogs sign Djerrkura
The Western Bulldogs have confirmed their second deal of the AFL trade period, signing former Geelong utility Nathan Djerrkura.
The Bulldogs have given up a third-round draft pick for the 22-year-old.
Djerrkura only played one AFL match this season and has had four senior games since his debut last year.
Bulldogs football manager James Fantasia said Djerrkura would add versatility to their team.
"Nathan is someone we have had our eye on for a while now," Fantasia said.
"He obviously lacked opportunities at Geelong but we believe he is a perfect fit for us."
The Bulldogs are one of the more active clubs in this trade week and have also secured Patrick Veszpremi.
They hope to complete a trade that will bring Brisbane utility Justin Sherman to Whitten Oval.
Sydney have made a bid for Sherman, but he has reportedly told them he only wants a trade to the Bulldogs.
At the start of trade week on Tuesday, the Bulldogs also confirmed Tom Liberatore and Mitch Wallis as father-son recruits.
