Bulldogs veteran Eagleton retires
The Western Bulldogs have confirmed that Nathan Eagleton has joined captain Brad Johnson in retiring from the AFL.
Eagleton, 31, played his final game in Saturday night's preliminary final loss to St Kilda.
He was a member of Port Adelaide's inaugural team in 1997 and played 56 games for the Power before joining the Bulldogs in 2000.
The wingman played 221 games for the 'Dogs, including 16 this season, for a career total of 277.
"Nathan has been a fantastic player for our Club and I speak for everyone here in thanking him for his tremendous service over a number of years for the Western Bulldogs," Bulldogs football manager James Fantasia said.
