Dogs lose Ben Roberts for six more weeks
Canterbury five-eighth Ben Roberts will miss as many as six additional weeks before returning to NRL action from an ankle injury.
Roberts suffered the injury in the round seven win over Brisbane and was expected to miss a month, perhaps returning as early as Sunday's clash with Melbourne at AAMI Park.
"Ben Roberts is still on crutches," Bulldogs coach Kevin Moore told AAP on Thursday.
"He actually had a pin put into his ankle and that's still a week or two off coming out.
"After that he's got about four weeks of rehab ahead of him so he's probably still maybe six weeks away."
Blake Green will again wear the No. 6 jersey as Robert's replacement against the Storm.
Prop Ben Hannant is still another week away from returning after a knee injury.
"We've only just started to run him," Moore said.
"With the type of injury he's got, you like to get a week or two of running into him before he plays.
"He's probably a week away."
Bulldogs physio Tony Ayoub, who also looks after the NSW State of Origin side, has given Blues trio Brett Kimmorley, Michael Ennis and Jamal Idris the all-clear for Sunday's game.
