Wales' Roberts to have shoulder scan
Wales centre Jamie Roberts faces a nervous wait to find out if he will be fit to face France after revealing he will need a scan on the left shoulder he injured against England.
Roberts suffered his injury just two minutes from time in Six Nations champions Wales' 23-15 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
"I am hoping it won't be that serious," Roberts said on Sunday ahead of the clash with France in Paris on February 27.
"I have had a knock on it before and I will have a scan."
He added: "It was really hurting towards the end of the game. But I was determined not to go off the field in a game like this."
Victory kept Wales on course for their first back-to-back grand slams since 1909.
But whereas Roberts, 22, was man-of-the-match in Wales's tournament opening 26-13 win away to Scotland at Murrayfield, it was a different story in Cardiff.
Joe Worsley hit Roberts with a series of crunching tackles which earned the England flanker, recalled in place of Steffon Armitage after the side's unconvincing 36-11 win over Italy, the man-of-the-match award.
"I was absolutely battered and bruised at the end and it was the toughest game I have ever played in," Roberts said.
"Joe Worsley did a great man-to-man job on me and that is the reason they picked him."
