Hurricanes centre Ma'a Nonu has been cited for making a dangerous tackle during his team's Super 14 rugby 37-13 loss to the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday.
The All Blacks midfielder will appear at a judicial hearing on Tuesday.
The incident arose late in the match when Nonu was alleged to have tackled Stormers five-eighth Peter Grant above shoulder level.
