Saints fans able to collect tickets
St Kilda members were able to resume collecting their AFL grand final tickets on Tuesday, after a blunder compounded the annual frustration for fans.
The AFL suspended collection on Monday because up to 800 fans were incorrectly charged for their tickets.
It meant some fans mistakenly believed they had secured precious tickets.
There are never enough tickets to cope with grand final demand.
Saints coach Ross Lyon said he felt for fans who missed out on seeing Saturday's grand final against Geelong.
"You can hold senior coaches responsible for a lot of things, but not ticketing," he said.
"It's very difficult - the system comes out of AFL headquarters, they're agents for the club and we're under instruction, there's a system in place.
"Certainly I hear it bubbling around in the background and I'd hate for anyone to disadvantaged or miss out, but it's a bit like picking the 22, there's only so many you can fit in the stadium."
