Beau Scott cops two-match NRL ban
St George Illawarra will start next year's NRL season without centre Beau Scott after he pleaded guilty to a dangerous throw charge on Tuesday.
Scott was suspended for two matches for his throw on Tonie Carroll late in the Dragons' NRL semi final loss to Brisbane last Saturday.
Broncos star Karmichael Hunt is free to play in Saturday's preliminary final against Melbourne after he pleading guilty to a tripping charge as expected.
Gold Coast forward Sam Tagataese was charged for dangerous contact with Parramatta rookie Daniel Mortimer but also escaped suspension with an early plea.
