Newcastle's Quinn out for two weeks
Newcastle winger Anthony Quinn will be sidelined for two weeks after being found guilty of a dangerous throw at the NRL judiciary.
Quinn failed to beat a grade one dangerous throw charge, committed during his side's 70-32 win over Canberra on Sunday.
Loading for prior offences committed over the last two years and 93 carry-over points turned what would normally be a one-week ban into a two-week suspension.
Quinn will miss home matches against the Bulldogs on Friday night and against the New Zealand Warriors next Saturday.
He will return for the clash against St George Illawarra on Saturday April 8.
