Bailey and O'Loughlin return for Wigan
Wigan's bid to reach the Challenge Cup final has been boosted by the return to fitness of Australian star Phil Bailey and captain Sean O'Loughlin ahead of Saturday's semi-final against Warrington.
Bailey is back after missing Wigan's last two matches with a leg injury, while loose forward O'Loughlin had been sidelined for the Warriors' last four games with a knee injury.
"Sean's chances are pretty good," Wigan coach Brian Noble said on Tuesday.
"He'll only play if he's fully fit but he's taking part in training and we'll make a decision on Thursday or Friday.
"He did a bit of training last week and he's progressing well. He's a consummate professional and has due diligence in relation to his rehab.
"He's important to us and so it's important that we give him the best opportunity to play. He's a world class player."
Wigan have been led for the last two weeks by former Warrington centre Martin Gleeson, who added: "Sean's a big figure in our team and it would give us a boost if he's back."
