Archer to play against Kangaroos
Kangaroos hardman Glenn Archer has passed a fitness test on his injured groin and will play in today's AFL clash with Carlton at the MCG.
Coach Dean Laidley says Archer, who also has a hand problem which may force him to wear a guard for the remainder of the season, is fit to play.
The `Roos have got off to a flying start in 2004, winning their opening two matches.
Sydney will be without star forward Michael O'Loughlin for tonight's clash with Geelong at the SCG.
O'loughlin missed training yesterday with a hamstring strain and has been replaced by Amon Buchanan.
Tonight's other match pits Essendon against West Coast at Telstra Dome.
