Ryan Girdler will play his first game of the Kangaroo Tour against Wales at Bridgend on Sunday, the Australian Rugby League announced.

A calf injury has kept Girdler out of action since the NRL Grand Final.

Shane Webcke (back strain) and Phil Bailey (bruised foot) will also return after sitting out the last game with injury.

The team departs for Wales on Saturday.
