Western Force lure Caleb Brown to Perth
Western Force have signed former Super 14 Reds winger Caleb Brown on a two-year deal.
Brown, who notched 11 Super Rugby caps in three seasons with the Reds, has signed on with the Force until the end of 2010.
The 21-year-old made his Super debut against the Crusaders in 2006 and notched 10 caps in his rookie season.
That impressive campaign saw him earn selection in Australia's under 21s team for the 2006 Junior World Championships in France. But a serious hamstring injury kept him off the park in 2007.
He returned to play the final game of Queensland's 2008 campaign before clinching a berth in the Australian sevens team for the London and Scotland tournaments last month.
"It's an exciting time for me in rugby and a new phase in my life," Brown said.
"The injuries are all sorted - that's a blessing - and as far as I'm concerned my best rugby is ahead of me.
"I'm still young and I feel that I've got a lot of developing to do as a rugby player and I'll have a great opportunity to achieve that under (coach) John Mitchell and the coaching staff at the Western Force."
