Turner signs for two more years at Force
Western Force halfback Justin Turner has signed a new two-year deal with the Super 14 franchise.
Turner, who hails from Perth, has recovered from a back injury suffered last year to regain his place in the Force's team this season.
Turner will make his first Super 14 run-on start for the Force against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday night and was also selected this week in the Australian under-20s side for this year's junior World Cup in Argentina.
"It has been an impressive rise from Justin," Force general manager of rugby Mitch Hardy said in a statement on Saturday.
"Coming from the academy to making his debut and now starting on Saturday night it is great reward for the hard work he has put in.
"It is fantastic to see another local West Australian player come through the system and have an impact for the Western Force in Super Rugby.
"We have great confidence that he'll continue to improve and make an important contribution to the Western Force going forward."
Turner's debut for the Force came in the week eight win over the Stormers at ME Bank Stadium and has played in every round since then.
