Bombers post record membership

Essendon are the latest AFL club to celebrate a record membership.
The Bombers now have 38,953 members, breaking their 2001 mark of 38,904.
They are 3590 up on this time last year.
"I believe our supporters are enjoying seeing our young, developing list play exciting football and they have joined up in huge numbers," said Bombers chief executive Peter Jackson.
