Magpies pass 50,000 membership milestone

Collingwood have passed the 50,000 membership milestone for the first time in their history.
The powerhouse club set a target of 50,000 in 2010 after achieving a previous record membership of 46,327 in 2009, and are on target to reach their stated goal of 60,000 members by 2011.
Four days before the round-one clash with the Western Bulldogs, Collingwood's current tally of 50,865 is more than 11,000 ahead of the same time last year.
